Quintype Technologies, a Bengaluru-based SaaS start-up, has raised 25 Crore in the Series A round of funding to expand its outreach and operations. A part of IIFL Wealth Management Limited, IIFL AMC, is behind this funding.
The idea behind Quintype was to break the shackle of technical trouble in creating, distributing, publishing, and monetizing content. This digital publishing platform for modern publishers has simplified the hassle required to bring a piece of content under the spotlight. Some of the renowned publishers of Quintype are Bloomberg Quint, Prabhat Khabar, Bar and Bench, The Quint, and Swarajya.
Cheerdeep Shetty, the CEO of Quintype, has expressed his fund raise’s felicity while talking about the significant shift in the publishing industry from traditional to digital. He said that his team is fortunate to lead this change by creating such digital publishing platforms, and this investment by IIFL AMC will accelerate the expansion of its horizon. He intends to adopt the digital-first strategy after this digital transformation is accelerated due to the pandemic.
The senior managing Partner of IIFL AMC, Prashasta Seth, said that Quintype is ready to accelerate digital content growth and publishing space with its suite of products. It encourages more content creators to go digital smoothly and get the freedom to distribute, scale-up, and monetize their content.
